The King is dead, long live the king! 10/21/2011

But there are many questions that pop into my head during this incident. The first question is before we celebrate, shouldn't we know what we're getting to replace him. It's like the old saying when a king died. The King is dead! Long Live the King! Nature abhors a vaccuum and someone will surely step up to lead Libya. The question is, will it be someone better, as bad, or worse? Let's take a look at the people with whom we've allied ourselves. The way they deal with overthrowing their government is to drag the leader out of a ditch, parade him through the streets while the people beat him and throw things at him, then as he begs for his life, they put a bullet in his head. (Yes, I'm aware of the official story where he was shot execution style in the temple by accidental crossfire, but we all know that's just bullshit) But wait, there's more. Then they through his carcass on the hood of a truck and drove it around the city, while people celebrated by firing automatic weapons in the air. Aren't we proud? These people decided to overthrow this scumbag. Good for them. I hope all goes well, but why did we need to get involved in the first place? I watch what we are doing, and I'm not a big fan. In the past month or so, we have assisted in the assasination of a foriegn leader and we have ordered the assasination of an American Citizen. Is the goal of the Obama Administration to prove that the Imperialistic way we are portrayed in some of these countries are right? Maybe we need to focus on cleaning up our own back yard and securing our own borders and letting the other countries sort out their own issues.
